There are two key ways of attaching a smart gadget with WiFi Secure Configuration (WPS) such as a smartphone, tablet, monitor, or laptop. Either use the physical WPS button on the Linksys Router or log in to the extender.linksys.com domain address.
1. Linksys Extender Setup  Safe WPS settings
As we mentioned earlier, the WPS button can be found on the back or bottom of the router plate. What you need to do is simply press the WiFi Safe Configuration button and connect the extender and router to each other. But make sure that the router is running the new firmware upgrade or that the device is correctly wired to the internet network. You will connect your smart devices to the router using WPS.
2. WPS button based on the site
This process can be done in three ways: using the WiFi Safe Configuration press, using the WPS PIN and the router PIN. You can use any of the three approaches discussed below:
